Disgusting. After purchasing various canned goods, anf some Tajin from this market I arrived home to find all the cans were expired! And I'm talking about years. I had a can that expired in December 2014. Also the Tajin expired on Jan 2015. When I called the man who answered casually asked me to bring them back and he would refund me.
When I returned to get my money back, I first stopped by the can food aisle to take a closer look. I grabbed 5 random cans from the shelf and EVERY ONE was expired by at least a year. I brought these, along with the items I was returning to the counter and told the man he should not have these on the shelf. He then told me "it is up to you to check the dates before u buy items" What? Excuse me? I couldn't believe he said that. He then refunded my money and as I left he said "have a great day sir" in a sarcastic manner.
After sitting in my car I thought about it and returned with my phone to take pictures of the expired products, and as I walked in I noticed HE PUT THE ITEMS I RETURNED BACK ON THE SHELF. All the expired products I showed him he placed back for sale. As he saw me taking pictures he asked me to leave and never come back.
I urge anyone thinking of going here to think again. If they have expired canned food, I'm sure they aren't selling the freshest produce or meat either. Oh, and Dos Amigos just know the Health department has been informed.
